Nicolas Ingram is the Vice President of Investment at Gobi Partners’ Greater Bay Area (GBA) practice, managing the Alibaba Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Fund (AHKEF) for which Gobi is the exclusive General Partner (GP).

Nicolas is a graduate of Princeton University where he received his B.A. in Political Science and Government with a certificate in East Asian Studies. He began his career in 2012 with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Consultant focused on Fortune 100 Banking Capital Markets (BCM) and mid-to-large sized insurance clients spanning IT systems strategies, change management, and process reengineering. Following his role at PwC, he was Vice President of Principal Energy Investments, Structuring, and Origination at Noble Group in 2016, where he was part of a three-person team responsible for executing and managing all energy related structured commodity, M&A, and principal investment transactions. In 2017 he became Manager of Business Development, Partnerships & Operations at Ant Financial (Alibaba affiliate), with a US and Central & South America focus. In 2019, he took on the role of Senior Associate of Strategy, Operations, and Investments at Baring Private Equity Asia (BPEA) where he focused on investments and post-deal operations across multiple Southeast Asia based investments spanning education, healthcare, IT services, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
