Ricky Choi is the Senior Manager and Lead of the Smart Living Cluster at Cyberport and is responsible for promoting and driving Smart Living Cluster in particular EdTech, HealthTech, Smart Mobility, Robotics / IoT, EnvironmentTech, Smart Building, MarTech, RetailTech / E-Commerce development across Hong Kong and the region, as well as building a future abundant with opportunities for the younger generations to innovate by partnering with industry partners, associations, and ecosystem stakeholders.
Mr. Choi has over 20 years’ experience in the Smart Living and Retail Technology industries, from facilitating start-ups launch and conquering the automation frontier for retail and hospitality businesses, to helping brands connect and engage with customers through technologies. Prior to joining Cyberport, Choi had held various senior positions in business development and operations management in Tech Start-ups, Smart Retail, FMCG, Food & Beverages, Wholesale & Distribution sectors. Mr. Choi has been active in public services related to education, industrial training and youth development.
Mr. Choi holds a BA (Hons) degree in Industrial Design from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, a Master of Arts degree in Architecture from Kingston University, London, an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and completed the Executive Education of Technology & Innovation Management Programme from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
